POINT 1 - FIGHT FOR PRAYER: PRAY FOR OTHERS (1 Timothy 2:1-2)

Henri Nouwen - Prayer is like breathing. If you stop breathing you die physically. If you stop praying you die spiritually

"Praying is not simply some necessary compartment in the daily schedule of a Christian or a source of support in a time of need, nor is it restricted to Sunday mornings or mealtimes. Praying is living. It is eating and drinking, action and rest, teaching and learning, playing and working. Praying pervades every aspect of our lives. It is the unceasing recognition that God is wherever we are"

POINT 2 - FIGHT FOR PRAYER: PRAY FOR SALVATION (1 Timothy 2:3-6)

Verse 4

This verse DOES teach that God loves everyone.

This verse DOES teach that God desires all to be saved

This verse DOES NOT teach that all will be saved
