POINT 1 - GOD IS IN CONTROL: EVEN IN MY GRIEF

Genesis 24:62-67

"Beer-Lahai-Roi" - the same location where Hagar met the LORD when she was running away from Sarah. It means "the well of the living one who sees me."

POINT 2 - GOD IS IN CONTROL: SO PRAY

Genesis 25:19-21

How do we know that we believe that God is in control? - We prayerfully Submit

How do we know if we do not believe God is in control? - We complain

POINT 3 - GOD IS IN CONTROL: OBEY HIM

Genesis 26

Notice the relationship between all 3 points - God allows us to grieve so that we will prayerfully submit to Him. This grows our faith and love for Him which causes us to desire to follow Him and obey him more.
