When it comes to trusting God's faithfulness to His promises...

POINT 1 - HUMAN EFFORT WON'T DO IT Genesis 12:4-20; 13:1-13

POINT 2 - IT TAKES FAITH Genesis 15:1-6

What kind of soil has your faith been planted into recently? Rocky ground or good soil?

Trust God's promises!

o 1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

o Deut 31:8 - It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”

o This is quoted in Hebrews 13:5 - Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

o Luke 11:13 - If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

o Romans 8:1 – there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus

o Romans 8:37-39 nothing can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus

o Ezekiel 36 – He promises to saves us by faith not because we earned it but because He wants to for His Glory! What promises of God do you rely on or that give you faith? Please put some in the comment section below!

2) God fixes our mistakes!

3) He has a plan!
