POINT 1 - BE A BLESSING: YOU ARE CALLED - Genesis 18:16-33

Verse 19 is one of the key verses to understanding the entire account of Sodom and Gomorrah

POINT 2 - BE A BLESSING: HOSPITALITY - Genesis 19:1-11

Don't think of hospitality as only having people into your home, it is the act of making others greater than yourself

The primary sin of Sodom and Gomorrah is "anti-hospitality"

Be so heavenly minded that you are of most earthly good!

POINT 3 - BE A BLESSING: SHARE GOD'S EXTRAVAGANT GRACE - Genesis 19:12-26

cf. Luke 17:29-32 - Jesus refers to Lots wife as someone who returned home during a time of judgement and destruction

Don't be Lot's wife! Don't go back to the ways of the ways of the world! Pursue the Lord! It's worth it!

Left to myself I am no better than the Sodomites. But Praise be to God that through Christ Jesus our Lord we have forgiveness and redemption of sins! We are able to receive grace and mercy that we do not deserve!

What great news! We need to share this amazing news with everyone we can! - Great Commission, Great Commandment

Be a blessing, by responding to God's call over your life, be hospitable to all around you and bask in the extravagant grace of God. Then invite others to do the same.
